Local interest

Local Interest Workum is an association with a board of currently 9 enthusiastic volunteers, who represent the general interests of their members, the residents of Workum. We are there for all residents of Workum and also have a strong commitment to the entrepreneurs, shopkeepers and recreationists of the city. We also want to stimulate, activate and facilitate residents in actions that contribute to improving the quality of life and enjoyment of living in our city.

We give solicited and unsolicited advice to and consult with the municipal council and other agencies in the field of quality of life and welfare. Local interest Workum is an independent party without political interests.
